charming stay with excellent service!

friendly staff delicious options well-equipped room easy parking
i found the staff very friendly and helpful. the breakfast offered delicious options. the room was well-equipped with nice decorations. parking was easy, a real plus for me.
The drinks were a bit expensive. I thought that two large glasses of wine cost a tad too much! though the outside area needed some tidying.
Dining

I had a really great sunday roast. my husband had a full english breakfast each morning and he loved it. The food was cooked very well. the coffee was delicious too!

small room fluctuating water pressure
I thought my 'superior king room' would be a bit more, well, superior. the room felt smaller than the photos suggested, and the promised view overlooked the parking lot, not the lovely gardens. i also had some trouble with the shower. The water pressure kept fluctuating. this made shampooing my hair a real chore, and i never felt fully clean.

a good stay near everything

clean room complimentary snacks calm atmosphere
the room was exactly as i hoped, clean, well-kept, and with a calm atmosphere. i especially liked the complimentary snacks and drinks in the mini-fridge. the location was ideal for me (i prefer quiet places), it was close enough to walk to attractions, yet far enough away from the noise.
The only issue i faced was the limited hot water supply during peak hours. It required some planning around other guests' schedules.
Facilities
9/10
on-site, i observed a well-equipped fitness center that included three treadmills, two stationary bikes, and a selection of free weights, ideal for maintaining a workout routine.
Location
10/10
the hotel is a short ten-minute walk from the main shopping area, it allows for easy access to various stores and local boutiques (very convenient for quick errands!).
Dining
9/10
The restaurant provides a full english breakfast daily, with locally sourced sausages and freshly baked bread. It offers a solid start to the day.
Service
9/10
housekeeping occurred daily, it ensured a consistently tidy room with fresh linens and replenished toiletries throughout my stay of three nights (very much appreciated!).
Rooms
9/10
My superior king room included a king-sized bed, a work desk with an ergonomic chair, and a separate seating area with a sofa and coffee table. Very spacious.
